Quick Summary

One of Alisha's clients loved their home and the loan was moving along well. Then the inspection found major issues that would cost many thousands to fix. I wanted to share something that just happened. I had a client in contract on a home they loved, and the loan process was going great.

Then they got the inspection report back. There were some major issues, items that would cost many thousands of dollars to fix. So they canceled their contract and are back looking for a house.

That's why home inspections are important. We don't usually handle inspections on the lending side, but that doesn't mean they don't matter. An inspection can make or break a deal, and it's one of those things you'll be glad you did.
